Open the Beat Board

Click on the ‘Beat Board’ option next to ‘Index Card’ in the top bar of the ‘Documents’ section.
Select a Structure
You will see two structure options: “3 Act Structure” and “5 Act Structure.” Select the structure that suits your screenplay.
Customize Your Beat Board
Based on your selected structure, the corresponding number of acts will be created in the beat board. You can now import existing scenes or create custom scenes within each act.

- To create a beat board, open Beat Board section.
- Click on “+ADD BOARD” button. A pop-up box will open. Select the structure that suits your screenplay.
- Based on your selected structure, the corresponding number of acts will be created in the beat board.
