How to Save and Manage Setups in Filmlight Pro

On the left bottom side click on the “Setup” option on Filmlight Pro software. The Setups screen is used to manage (save and import) your current lighting and camera configurations.

Save Current Setup

This feature allows you to save the current configuration of your Ambient, Subject, Camera, Lighting, and Diffusion settings for future use.

Steps

Navigate to Setups: Click on the Setups option in the vertical navigation menu on the left side of the application.

Enter a Setup Name: In the field labeled “Save Current Setup” (which has example text like “e.g., ‘Dramatic Interview Setup'”), type a descriptive name for your current configuration.

Save the Setup: Click the Save button to the right of the name field. The current settings will be saved and should then appear under the “Saved Setups” list.

Import Setup

This feature allows you to load a previously saved setup file (presumably a CSV file) that was exported from Filmlight Pro.

Steps:

Navigate to Setups: Click on the Setups option in the vertical navigation menu.

Open the Import Dialogue: Click the button labeled Import from CSV File under the “Import Setup” heading. This action will open your operating system’s file browser.

Select and Import: Navigate to the location of your saved setup file (CSV), select the file, and confirm the import. This will load all settings (Ambient, Subject, Camera, Lighting, and Diffusion) into the application.

Saved Setups

This section displays a list of all configurations you have previously saved and allows you to load or manage them.

Steps to Load a Saved Setup:

Navigate to Setups: Click on the Setups option in the vertical navigation menu.

Locate the Setup: Look under the Saved Setups heading for the list of your saved configurations.

  • Note: In the provided image, the list is empty, showing “You have no saved setups.”

Load the Setup: Click on the name of the setup you wish to load. The application will instantly apply all the saved settings to the corresponding tabs (Ambient, Subject, Camera, Lighting, and Diffusion).
