1. Theme

This option controls the visual colour scheme of the entire application interface.

Steps:

Click the Settings option in the vertical navigation menu on the left.

Under the Theme heading, choose one of the three options:

  • Light: Applies a bright, light-colored background theme.
  • Dark: Applies a dark-colored background theme (often preferred for monitoring screens).
  • System: Automatically matches the theme currently set by your operating system.

2. Language

This field allows you to change the language displayed throughout the application.

Steps:

Locate the Language dropdown menu.

Click the dropdown and select your desired language (e.g., English, Español, Français, Deutsch, etc.). The application should update immediately to the new language.

3. Unit of Length

This setting defines the measurement system used for physical distances, such as the Key Light Distance.

Steps:

Locate the Unit of Length dropdown menu.

Choose your preferred unit:

  • meter (m)
  • feet (ft)

4. Unit of Illuminance

This setting specifies the unit used to measure light levels (brightness).

Steps:

Locate the Unit of Illuminance dropdown menu.

Choose your preferred unit:

  • lx (Lux)
  • fc (Foot-candles)

5. Max Keylight Distance

This field allows you to set the maximum value for the Key Light Distance slider found in the Master Controls panel.

Steps:

Enter the maximum distance value you need for your light simulations (e.g., 120). This prevents you from accidentally setting the light too far away when using the slider control.
